Cancelling your Centiment account
When you cancel your Centiment account, your paid subscription stays active until the end of your current billing cycle. Because billing is managed at the organization level, canceling moves your entire organization to the Free plan and affects all organization members. Each account starts with one organization by default.
Billing and refunds
Centiment does not offer refunds for unused time. You will continue to have access to your paid plan until the end of the billing cycle. After that, your organization moves to the Free plan.
What happens when you cancel:
-
Your organization moves to the Free plan
-
All members immediately lose access, including access to any private workspaces they created
-
All survey responses collected before cancellation (whether under a Free or paid plan) remain available for 30 days, limited to CSV exports
-
After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be restored
-
Resubscribing within 30 days preserves all data
Free plan limitations
-
You can add collaborators, but not members (members can create their own workspaces)
-
Maximum of 20 responses per month across all newly created surveys
Pre-cancellation checklist
To avoid losing important data, complete these steps before canceling:
-
Export survey responses you want to keep
-
Notify organization members that they will lose access to private workspaces
-
Coordinate with members to export any data they need
-
Download invoices or billing records you need for accounting
How to cancel
-
Most users have one organization and can delete it from account settings
-
If you have two or more organizations, cancel each organization directly from its organization settings
