Pipedrive connection

Create or update deals, persons, and organizations in Pipedrive from survey responses. Keep your sales pipeline in sync with customer feedback.

Overview

The Pipedrive connection creates a new record in your chosen Pipedrive object for each survey response. You map survey questions to Pipedrive fields, and Centiment creates or updates records automatically. With lookup support, you can update existing records instead of creating duplicates.

Prerequisites

  • A Pipedrive account

  • A survey with at least one question

Setup

Step 1: Connect your Pipedrive account

Select an existing connected Pipedrive account or click Connect an account to authenticate with Pipedrive via OAuth.

Step 2: Select a Pipedrive object

Choose which object type you want to create records in: Deals, Persons, or Organizations. The available fields will update based on your selection.

Step 3: Map fields and set trigger rules

Map your survey questions to Pipedrive fields. Optionally set a lookup field to update existing records instead of always creating new ones. Then choose which response statuses trigger the sync: Complete, Disqualified, or Over Quota. You can also add conditions to filter which responses are sent.

Field mapping

Each survey question can be mapped to a field on the selected Pipedrive object. Make sure you map questions to fields with compatible types, for example, map an email question to an Email field, or a name question to a Text field. Custom fields you've created in Pipedrive are also available for mapping.

Lookup field

When you set a lookup field, Centiment searches for an existing record where that field matches the mapped survey answer. If a match is found, the record is updated. If no match is found, a new record is created. This is useful for keeping Person or Organization records current without creating duplicates.

Backfill

When first enabled, existing responses that match your trigger rules are automatically synced to Pipedrive.

Good to know

  • Custom fields created in Pipedrive will appear alongside standard fields during mapping.
  • Make sure your Pipedrive account has permission to create and edit the selected object type.
